It is with both sadness and gratitude that we announce that Lynn Erdman's last day with Carolina Breast Friends will be Friday, July 1. Please join us at The Pink House on Wednesday, June 29, for a Farewell Drop-in Celebration to thank Lynn for her service to our organization. All are welcome and encouraged to stop by anytime from 10 a.m. 5 p.m. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day. Please note that masks are required inside The Pink House.
Lynn has graciously continued in her role as Executive Director since her retirement was announced last September to allow CBF to find her successor. During her four and a half years at CBF, Lynn has tirelessly served hundreds of breast cancer Survivors while managing the activities at The Pink House. Drawing on her oncology-nursing and nonprofit management background, she has increased the strength and diversity of our program offerings. She helmed the organization's shift to virtual and video programming in response to the pandemic a change that has led to an increase in the number of breast cancer Survivors we serve. Lynn has strengthened and expanded CBF's relationships with Atrium and Novant, as well as many other nonprofit organizations in our community. Her leadership has elevated the visibility of the Pink House throughout our community. We are so very thankful and appreciative of her contributions to CBF.
Please join us in thanking Lynn for her service to our organization and wishing her all the best in the next chapter of her life.
