This event is in collaboration with Medical Students Making A Difference (MSMD), the Latino Medical Student Association Plus (LMSA), and Concrete Jungle (CJ). They're both student-led organizations at Georgia State University. MSMD's mission is to foster a community of pre-health students who are committed to protecting and improving population health through service and leadership. LMSA is the GSU Chapter of the national organization, dedicated to supporting and empowering Latino/medical students, as well as advocating for the health needs of Latino communities. CJ is an Atlanta based nonprofit organization whose mission is to transform overlooked and underutilized fruit trees and land into a healthy food source for communities in need.

For this event we are meeting to talk about the documentary, Forks Over Knives.
