About the event

Hearing health is an important—but often overlooked—aspect of life after breast cancer. Chemotherapy, radiation, and certain medications can increase the risk of hearing changes, which may also impact cognition.

Join us for a special session with board-certified audiologist Dr. Katy Crisp as we explore:

  • The anatomy and physiology of hearing

  • Co-morbidities of hearing loss, particularly in cancer survivors

  • Evidence-based research on how untreated hearing loss affects cognition

  • Signs your hearing should be evaluated
