Session Description:

Usui Reiki is a form of energy healing through the connected 'universal life force energy' that moves through the practitioner's hands into the client's body. Reiki can be done hands-on or hovering and the client is encouraged to vocalize what makes them feel safest and relaxed. This beautiful and powerful healing modality influences the process of healing the mental, physical, and emotional body by opening and activating the chakras to get stagnant energy moving more fluidly. The client will stay fully clothed laying on a massage table with blankets and, a table warmer, (crystals optional), and is encouraged to dress comfy for a 30-minute session. This is a trauma-informed space and your comfort is the top priority.

What to expect?

The session starts with a few minutes to check in, talking about your healing intentions for the session and providing a moment for you to fully arrive. You will then lay on a massage table, fully clothed. For the duration of your session, Sarah works with the Reiki energy by hovering her hands over your body and applying gentle touch (if you are comfortable with touch). She transmits beautiful and uplifting energies, full of grounding love, tranquility, and peace. At the end of the session, she spends a few minutes wrapping up the session and allowing a moment for integration. www.refreshwithsarahtess.com

The benefits of Reiki are aiding with reducing stress and anxiety, helping with pain management in a natural way and it is a great container to hold space for grounding and mindfulness practices. The results of each session depend on the healing needed by your body, mind, and spirit in the moment. For some, the sessions help them process and find relief, for others, it help them reconnect with their inner child, or regain strength, hope, and peace. Overall, her sessions are extremely soothing, cathartic and transformational.

Practitioner Bio:

Sarah Tess is a 27-year-old Charlotte native; holistic healer, abstract artist, painter, jewelry maker, animal/plant lover, and is passionate about women's health and wellness. Sarah recently moved back to CLT and opened up a new business 'Refresh with Sarah Tess' where she offers yoga, reiki, tarot, meditation, and classes for individuals who are looking to hone their passion into outlets of self-expression. She believes in the power of self-expression and believes everyone deserves to be heard, to be seen, and to feel expansive in their skin in the best way. Sarah is passionate about helping others learn to trust their intuition and create more space for compassion, creativity, and love. Life is a journey and it's better when we can support one another!!
