Important News about the Pink Boots Ball
Dear friends of The Pink House,
As our Pink Boots emcee, WBTV's Molly Grantham, says in her video message, we're all navigating a much different world due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Normally, you would be receiving an invitation from us now to attend our signature celebration and fundraising gala, the Pink Boots Ball. However, because breast cancer Survivors are often immune compromised, we feel that the current health crisis requires us to exercise an abundance of caution.
For this reason, we have decided to forego the Pink Boots Ball this year.
But the Pink Boots spirit lives on.
Our founder, Kristy Adams-Ebel, wore her pink boots to "kick the heck" out of cancer, and they quickly became a symbol of her indomitable spirit and can-do attitude. You can tap into that Pink Boots spirit and be can-do about changing the life of a person living with breast cancer.
As Molly shares in her video, breast cancer Survivors need the work of the Pink House now more than ever as they navigate their breast cancer journey on top of the added stress, isolation, and challenge of this pandemic.
- If you have been a Pink Boots Ball Sponsor, we ask you to invest your generosity directly into CBF's mission. Your continuing level of support right now is more vital than ever.
- If you've ever bought a ticket to the Ball, we ask you to contribute that ticket amount as a tax-deductible donation this year.
- Even if you've never been to the Ball, we invite you to participate now by making a donation. Any amount helps.
