Giving Book Spotlights Our Mentoring Program

We are proud to be featured again in this year's Giving Book, produced by The Society Guide to help Charlotte's philanthropy-minded community find worthwhile local nonprofits for their charitable giving. The feature focuses on the 1:1 Mentoring Program we offer to women and men experiencing breast cancer.

An excerpt:
One of the most memorable experiences Tara has had as a mentor, was working with a young woman a year behind her in her diagnosis.
"I remember her asking me in the very beginning, 'When do you go to bed at night and not feel the fear and worry that you have breast cancer?'"
