Please join Dr Russ Greenfield, MD for a Virtual Session about healthy diet and lifestyle practices, and select complementary therapies that may be of help to you. Making sense of health information is a daunting challenge whether the information comes from your doctor, the Internet, or the clerk at your local health food. Understanding which complementary medical therapies might be of benefit can be especially hard, yet it is important to distinguish between activities and treatments that are helpful, those that are promising but not proven, and interventions and products that may be worthless or even worse, potentially dangerous.
Dr Greenfield is the Director of Integrative Medicine at Novant Health and was trained by the renown Dr Andrew Weil. When caring for his patients, Dr Greenfield takes into account the whole person - body, mind, spirit, family, community, and the environment. This promises to be a very interesting talk, so we hope you will join us online!
