A special Survivor's Night...

Satya Linak, Hollywood Makeup Artist, two-time cancer survivor & bone marrow transplant recipient, will be talking beauty, skincare and makeup techniques to help you feel better during and after treatment.


Meet up time is at 6:00pm
Program begins at 6:30 pm

Session Description:

Feeling good and nourishing your spirit are important healing tools during cancer treatment.  Come learn from Satya Linak, Hollywood Makeup Artist, two-time cancer survivor & bone marrow transplant recipient, about transforming your spirit through beauty, skincare, and makeup. She will be sharing her love & passion, teaching techniques and talking products that will help you look fabulous and feel better.

Guest Speaker's Bio:

Satya Linak, a passionate Makeup Artist who brings professionalism and joy to all her work.  Drawing on her background in fine arts and photography, she is adept at creating versatile looks that range from very natural to highly imaginative. Based in Los Angeles, she specializes in beauty, fashion, and editorial makeup, men's grooming, and light hairstyling.
Satya was already an award-winning jewelry designer when she studied at Makeup Designory in Burbank, California. She was inspired to follow this path while battling cancer as a young adult. During her treatment she experimented with makeup and wigs and realized her life passion. Through this experience she discovered how makeup can go far beyond the superficial to become a tool for self-transformation and a healing art that nourishes the spirit.
Satya has worked in all aspects of the industry. Starting with MAC Cosmetics as a freelance artist, she went on to become the Lead West Coast Makeup Artist helping to launch Surratt Beauty. Since then she has worked with celebrity clients like John Leguizamo, Terri Nunn from Berlin, Aloe Blacc, and Korn, photographers and directors like David LaChapelle, Nick Knight, and Joseph Cultice, and advertising clients like Paul Mitchell, Max Studio, and MTV. Her work has appeared in editorials in Schön Magazine, Glassbook, and InStyle. She has also done runway shows for Tom Ford and the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund.
