Session Description:

The talk will review the relatively recent history of "chemo brain," or cancer-related cognitive impairment (CRCI), as a clinical phenomenon. Jennifer will define CRCI, describe associated cognitive and behavioral symptoms, discuss confounding factors and outcomes, and review previous research and existing treatment and management strategies for CRCI.


Instructor Bio: 
Jennifer Hartzell, PsyD, ABPP-CN

Jennifer Hartzell is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist specializing in the assessment and diagnosis of neurocognitive dysfunction in cancer patients. Dr. Hartzell sees patients and conducts clinical research at Levine Cancer Institute (LCI) in Charlotte, NC. She is a native New Yorker and joined LCI two years ago from New York Un.
