
This program is for women with HER2 Positive Breast Cancer and our speaker will be Eric Cohen, RN, MS, a clinical nurse educator from Puma Biotechnology. He will discuss what to know about HER2+ breast cancer, understanding pathology, how anti-cancer therapies work, treatment plans, the patient's role in treatment, and steps you can take to lower your risk of recurrence. This promises to be a very informative and uplifting session. We hope you can join us!.
Eric has been an oncology nurse for over 20 years. He has worked in multiple oncology settings including inpatient medical oncology and bone marrow transplant, outpatient infusion, patient education and as a clinical nurse educator for the past 8 years. In 2013, Eric earned a Master's of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health and since then, has done numerous national and local presentations on Nutrition and Cancer. Eric has also served nationally with the Oncology Nursing Society and was named Oncology Nurse of the Year in 2013, by the National Capital Region of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
