Community Storytelling Project

Survivors, Thrivers & CoSurvivors Storytelling Project with Queens University Students  

Virtual Session starts at 6:00 pm 

Session Description: 

Join us online and listen to Queens University College students in the community storytelling project, as they tell real stories of transformation from within the Carolina Breast Friends community.  These stories are filled with heartache, pain, growth and strength. Show your support of these strong Survivors, Thrivers & CoSurvivors by joining this session.

Goals of the Project:

· To provide survivors with a platform for telling their stories in their own words

· To increase awareness of breast cancer prevention and the importance of early detection within the Queens community

· To share stories which may offer support and inspiration to others who are facing their own cancer journey within the Queens and Charlotte communities

NOTE: This session will be delivered online using Zoom. You can participate using your computer, smartphone, or tablet.  There is no cost involved or software to load. All you need is the meeting link and password, which we will provide via email confirmation when you register (using the button at the top of this session description).  We suggest using the meeting link a few minutes prior to the start time of the session. If you don't receive a confirmation email from us within an hour of registering, please check your SPAM folder or email cbf@carolinabreastfriends.org
