Session Description: Please join us for an extremely information session on how to be the best Mentor that you can be. Our speaker, Meg Turner, works with newly diagnosed breast cancer Survivors all day every day. She will share her years of expertise with us, letting us know what works and what doesn't work when we are trying to support women who have just learned that they have cancer. This promises to be a heartfelt session that we will all be able to relate to. Hopefully we will learn some tricks of the trade that will help us to be more effective as we are supporting others who are going through treatment and surgery and learning to cope with their disease.
About the Speaker:
Meg Turner is a Psychotherapist and Cancer Support Counselor at Atrium Health. She has years of experience working with newly diagnosed breast cancer Survivors. It is truly an honor to have her with us because her schedule is always full.
