Healing Dragons
Join the Healing Dragons for a picnic and paddle!
Bring a water bottle, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
Wear shoes that won't slip in a wet boat, closed-toe shoes are preferred.
8:30 - 9:00 am- Mandatory waivers and warm-up
9:00-10:15 am - Paddle
10:30 am -12:00 pm - Picnic Lunch
5226 Sample Rd. Huntersville. Follow Sample Road all the way to the end. Park in the lot. There is a waterfront beach where the dragon boats will launch.
The picnic will also be in Latta Nature Preserve at Shelter #3. It's located at 6345 Sample Rd by the former visitor's office.
