Session Description: 
   Please join us as Dr Dufour, a Board Certified Breast Imaging Radiologist in the Women's Imaging Section at Mecklenburg Radiology Associates, discusses breast imaging in patients who are at high risk for breast cancer.    Whether you already are a breast cancer Survivor who is concerned about a recurrence, have a strong family history, have tested positive for one of the breast cancer genes or have dense breasts, this session is for you.   Dr Dufour will discuss what to look for in a breast image, when additional imaging is required such as ultrasound and MRI, and how often these tests should be done.  To learn more about Mecklenburg Radiology Associates, visit our website at

Instructor Bio: 
Robert L. Dufour MD is a board-certified radiologist with Mecklenburg Radiology Associates, specializing in diagnostic radiology and women's imaging.   He attended medical school at George Washington University in Washington, DC and graduated with honors in 2014.  He then completed his internship and residency at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, Virginia. This was followed by a Fellowship in Women's Imaging at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC.     He is currently affiliated with Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.
