Come share your breast cancer story through expressive writing, poetry, storytelling and drama. This workshop will lead you through the process. Additionally, your words will become part of a theatrical production, showcasing the impact breast cancer has across all cultures, including Latina and Non-Latina women. Irania Patterson, a gifted instructor, poet and writer, will lead the classes, compile the information, and co-write the script for the production.
The final product, called The Tatas Monologues, will be presented by actors in October at several locations in Charlotte, including the Pink House, as part of the celebration for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
To be part of this amazing project, reserve your seat for the March 11 workshop using the registration botton above, or you can email our Director of Programming, Leslie Verner at lverner@carolinabreastfriends.org to RSVP for either ONE of the workshops timeslots below (please specify which workshop you would like to attend).
