What we can do for you
Our core service is providing regular meetings for breast cancer survivors. The 2nd Tuesday of every month is our survivor meeting at the Pink House on E Morehead in Charlotte. The 1st Thursday is our young survivors meeting (45 and under). Check the
CBF calendar for dates.
A CBF meeting can be your spirit-lifter and a chance to build extraordinary friendships with like-minded women. You'll find support, knowledge, and the wonder cure -- laughter.
Imagine a meeting like a girls' night with women who completely get you. We understand your lack of energy (the gym? what's that?), your aches, your pains, and anxieties.
Here to connect and support
Each of our monthly meetings focuses on different topics, activities, and interests. Whether you've just been diagnosed, dealing with a recurrence, or you are a long-term survivor looking for a way to pay it forward; we encourage you to attend and discover helpful information, and for your monthly dose of heart-healthy camaraderie.
Joining our group is easy! Just come to any one of our
monthly meetings or other
events. Feel free to drop by the house when we are open for a
visit. All of our programs are free for survivors.
All breast cancer survivors are welcome to join CBF. Whether you have just been diagnosed, dealing with a recurrence, or if you are a long-term survivor - there is something you can gain from, and give to CBF. Newly diagnosed women will find comfort, support, information, and will learn from our members who have been through it before them. Longer-term survivors will find the opportunity to teach and mentor new members and give back to the community.
