Carolina Breast Friends works to strengthen the wellbeing of anyone experiencing breast cancer. From instructional sessions to one-on-one mentoring, the programs and services we offer at the Pink House uplift, educate, and empower.

Because of our proximity to area medical facilities, we are often the first stop someone in the Carolinas makes when diagnosed--a safe landing place with a ready network of support and mentors. But that's not where it ends. Survivors at any point in their breast cancer journey find community and activities here to help them rise stronger.

We also now provide some of our programs and mentoring virtually so that anyone living with breast cancer--particularly those who are immune compromised--can get support, information, and connection from the comfort and safety of their own homes.

At Carolina Breast Friends, it's all about the breast cancer Survivor--whether newly diagnosed or well into recovery--and how to positively impact her or his experience.

Here is what Survivors say about us...

"The caring and compassionate community I met at Carolina Breast Friends helped erase the fear and gave me strength, knowledge, and hope during and after my cancer treatment."

"The sessions the Pink House has been delivering virtually have been my lifeline. During the pandemic, they've helped me stay connected. But even without a pandemic, they'd have helped me when I didn't have the energy to leave my house."

"Their programs have given me access to medical experts I would not have on my own. And my mentor shows me that I, too, can make this journey with grace... and I don't have to do it alone."

"I am in my 30's. Talking to survivors in my age range would have been difficult to do without Carolina Breast Friends."

"Carolina Breast Friends has provided me with so many resources. I received perspective and advice there in a comfortable environment that I didn't find elsewhere. I gained valuable education about treatments, beauty products, wigs, and lymph drainage. I also received a prosthetic [that I may have had to pay for somewhere else]."

"If I were not connected with this organization, I would not have gotten the wigs that made me feel "normal" while undergoing chemo."

"Although cancer is battle of its own, raising 3 young children in the mix of it is no small feat either. My children and I are very grateful to have Carolina Breast Friends as a part of our lives. The love and support through the Pink House has been my saving grace."

"I came in to the Pink House to look for a wig. Little did I know what a blessing this organization would prove to be, not just for me, but also for my family!"
