Carolina Breast Friends extends its gratitude to Melonee Hostetler, who finished her tenure as Executive Director on Friday, November 10th. Her hard work and dedication helped advance the mission in significant ways for two years following her time as a board member and volunteer. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors and will build on her efforts to move the organization forward.
Our search for a new Executive Director begins immediately, and we're fortunate to have a talented Pink House team to help manage all of our programs during the transition. Krista Barry, our Director of Programming and Volunteer Management, will assume management of operational processes. Amber Tracewell, Director of Development and Outreach, and Pam Young, Director of Marketing and Communication, have assumed additional responsibilities during the transition and are working closely with Krista to ensure all of Carolina Breast Friends' programming and operations continue as planned.
We have retained PMA Consulting to help us manage the search for a new Executive Director. The PMA team has been working closely with us as we build our organizational capacity, and they are well-positioned to launch a search given their experience in the nonprofit sector and familiarity with our organization.
