FAQ's

  • Who can use Carolina Breast Firends' services?
    • Anyone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
  • Is there a membership fee?
    • No. It's our mission to support local breast cancer survivors. All of our programs and services are free for survivors and co-survivors.
  • Can I bring a friend with me?
    • Our programs are for breast cancer Survivors, however, if you are a bit nervous about attending your first meeting, you are welcome to bring a friend or family member along. Either way, we promise not to bite.
  • Do I need to make an appointment to come to the Pink House for a program or simply a visit?
    • No. You are welcome to visit the Pink House during our standard business hours Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. No appointment is necessary, though if you want to call ahead to set up some time to talk with one of our staff members, you can certainly do that. Additionally, you are welcome to attend most of our program sessions by just showing up, though our calendar listing often include an RSVP function that is helpful. Either way, we recommend that you always check the calendar section of our web site before coming, just to make sure a program is still happening as scheduled.
  • I can't attend a meeting, but I have questions, what can I do?
  • I'm a young survivor, do you have anything for me?
    • Yes, we do! Check out the calendar for our Young Survivors Group. We have a great community of Young Survivors in Charlotte and surrounding areas who meet up at the Pink House and sometimes Girl Night Out excursions.
